National Manual Development Workshop
May 12-14, 2015
Nebraska

People in Pesticide Safety Education Programs and State Lead Agencies are invited to the first National Manual Development Workshop, to be held in Nebraska City, Nebraska. A committee of colleagues planned and is hosting the workshop to bring together people who want to learn from each other and

from experts. This workshop will provide PSEP and SLA personnel a framework and tools to increase

efficiency and cost-effectiveness when selecting or developing high quality pesticide safety manuals.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Create learner-oriented materials to meet the needs of applicators and agencies

  • Identify project management issues around creating educational manuals

  • Predict and explore the future of pesticide safety and educational manual development

  • Participate in creating a Community of Practice to extend workshop interaction, support,

collaboration, and resources in an ongoing, virtual manual development community

The workshop will be held at the beautiful Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City, NE.

Thanks to PSEP IMI and AAPSE grant funds, registration is free. Participants will be responsible for travel
